Create your own news channel and get all the views! Will you stick to the truth? Go for sensational fake news?  Or constantly straddle the line between them?

A game created for the Truth, Lies and Democracy Gamejam taking place during the capital of democracy in Barcelona 2024.

In this game, you become the producer of a news broadcast published via TruthTube. Every day, you get to decide which story you want to cover in your show today. You can even add a modifier to the story to enhance its effects upon your viewers.

Sensational (probably fake) news will bring you lots of quota, but erode your credibility. True but not so interesting news will increase your credibility, but not help you reach your target quota. And almost everything you do will make you lean to one side or the other on the political spectrum.

Life as a producer is hard and there are many ways to get cancelled. If you do not fulfill your quota or lose all your credibility, your show will be ended. But also, leaning too far onto one side of the political spectrum will see your show removed.

But fear not, after every week you complete successfully, you will get to choose new cards to add to your deck of stories and modifiers.

Your target quota will of course increase as well.
